Blacksmith 26-year-old Nigel Tudor began his career at age 13 at  nearby historical Meadowcroft Village and has studied with some of the most renowned blacksmiths in the country.

Because of insurance restrictions, Nigel's shop is no longer open to the public; however, guests may see a blacksmith at work at nearby Meadowcroft Museum.

 In 2001, Nigel was  selected by ABANA (the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America) to study ornamental ironwork in Germany at the atelier of Timm Bredohl and Andreas Gueldenberg.

Nigel was a demonstrator at the 2004 biannual ABANA national conference.

Coming full course, he taught a weekend basic blacksmithing course in the Fall of 2004 and 2005 at Touchstone Center for Crafts (where he has taken classes himself since he was 16). In 2006 and 2007 he taught a week-long course on joinery.

Nigel is currently focusing on architectural ironwork commissions, he has recently started a new farm implement business Tudor Ag.
