A variety of sheep breeds live at Weatherbury Farm Vacation: |

|
The first sheep to join our flock were Southdowns (an old English breed), followed by Jacob Sheep (an ancient breed with black and white wool) and most recently Merinos (these sheep were raised on this farm in the 1800's and early 1900's). We also have several crossbred sheep, who have been our "bottle babies" over the past several years. Feeding the sheep corn is a popular part of chores with farm visitors. Of course, bottle feeding baby sheep is also popular. . |
