Aracana Chickens

Weatherbury Farm's guests' favorite breed of chickens. Introduced as chicks in late summer 2000, the hens began laying their renowned blue, green and pink eggs in the spring of 2001.

Weatherbury Chickens are named after Lewis Carroll characters (Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts).

Golden Comet Chickens

We recently added Golden Comets to the barnyard. (They were our 2005 spring peeps.)

Collecting eggs at the chicken coop is a favorite of Weatherbury Farm Vacation's guests.
